Credentials

API credentials are created inside Franpos, not on this site. An account owner, or an employee with permission to manage API access, opens Settings, Get API and chooses to add an OAuth credential. They pick a name, the scopes it may use, and optionally the IP addresses it may call from.

• The secret is shown once, when the credential is created or rotated. Store it somewhere safe.
• To change a secret without downtime, rotate it: the old and new secrets both work until you finish the rotation.
• A credential can be revoked at any time, and stops working immediately.
• Existing API keys are managed on the same screen and keep working.
